Experienced Roofer – Learn Slate & CopperDurable Slate is an award-winning roofing contractor specializing in slate, copper, and clay-tile roofing. Since 1986, we've built our reputation on exceptional craftsmanship, safety, and quality work.We're looking for experienced roofers to join our team. If you already know roofing and take pride in doing the job right, we'll teach you the specialized skills needed to work with slate, copper, and other traditional roofing materials. You don't need to be a slate or historic roofer to join us. We want good roofers who are ready to learn a specialized trade.What You'll DoInstall/repair slate, clay tile, copper, and EPDM roofsLearn specialized slate and copper roofing techniques through paid trainingMaintain clean, safe, and professional job sitesWork with an experienced team to deliver high-quality craftsmanshipTravel to projects as needed, with paid travel time and travel support providedWhat You'll Bring1+ years of roofing experienceExperience with any type of roofing is welcomeGeneral knowledge of roofing installation, repair, and flashingComfortable working outdoors in all seasons and at heights using ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and other equipmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Reliable work ethic and willingness to learnPride in your work and attention to detailValid driver's license preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkSlate, copper, or historic roofing experience is a plus—but not required.
